Publication Guidelines

The Pinnacle upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical conduct in publication as a means of knowledge dissemination.

Editorial and Review Process

All submissions undergo an initial screening and evaluation by the Editorial Board to ensure compliance with the journal’s scope and strictly observed standards. Manuscripts that passed this stage are subsequently forwarded to external referees who are recognized experts in their respective fields for double-blind peer review.

Grounded in the referees’ review, the Editorial Board decides whether a manuscript shall be accepted or rejected. All authors of reviewed manuscripts shall receive a letter for appropriate action based on the review.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to decline any submission that violates intellectual property rights and disregards other conventions of ethics and scholarship rigors. Conversely, it reserves the right to accept a manuscript which review is superseded by its timeliness, relevance and high potential of contribution to knowledge in the field.

Author Responsibilities

Authors must ensure that submissions are their original works and that all sources utilized are properly acknowledged. Further, they should make sure that quotations, data and references areaccurate. It is also their responsibility to anonymize their submission for blind review.

Manuscripts submitted to The Pinnacle must not be under review or consideration by any other journal. Should an author wish to withdraw a submission and submit it elsewhere, the Editorial Board must be formally notified in writing, after which the review process will be discontinued.

Citation Styles

Authors are required to adhere to appropriate citation conventions based on disciplinary standards. The APA style shall be used for the social sciences and humanities, while the Chicago/Turabian style is recommended for philosophy. For mathematics and the natural sciences, authors should employ the citation format customary to their respective fields.

Similarity Index

All manuscripts shall undergo similarity check through Turnitin. To accommodate legitimate matches such as properly cited materials and common technical expressions, certain degree of similarity is allowed but must not exceed 15%. This policy ensures that all submissions adhere tothe journal’s strong commitment to originality and intellectual honesty.

AI-Generated Content

Submissions must be outcomes of genuine human scholarship. Manuscripts with more than 15% AI-generated content, as determined through the editorial screening process, will be subjected to further evaluation and eventually returned to the author for justification or rejection at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
